The University of Twente awards €3,000 to €22,000 to top non-EEA students admitted to its master's programmes. The 2027/28 form is open from 15 October 2026 to 1 April 2027.

The form closes on 1 April 2027 at 16:00 CET. Results are sent in the first week of May 2027.

What it covers

Between €3,000 and €22,000 for the first year, depending on the award
For two-year programmes, a second year is possible if you keep up good results

Who can apply

Non-EEA nationality (Pakistani students are eligible)
Admitted to a Twente master's programme starting in 2027
Among the top 5 to 10 per cent of your bachelor's class
IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in speaking, or equivalent

Tips for applying

Admission takes weeks, so apply for the programme by January to leave time for the scholarship form.
Ask your department for a letter stating your class rank; it makes the top 5 to 10 per cent requirement easy to check.
